Greetings and Welcome to the Home of Nomad Off-road!

We founded this club August 2005, as an alternative to other off-road clubs in our area.  Just like everybody else we have a forum and we get together to do other things besides go off-road, mainly BBQin' and wrenching on JEEPs and other off-road vehicles.  We created this club because to us it seemed that an off-road club should go off-road as much as possible.  That is what we do.  We want your experience to be a great one with as little confusion as possible.  We hope that we will be able to accomplish that.  With your help we don't see why that can't happen.

What we are all about:  Hitting trails, sharing knowledge, fixing broken stuff, modifying working stuff and having a jolly good time!  Most importantly learning better safer ways to travel as the crow flies.

Rules of the Road:      1.  Have a 4-wheel drive vehicle that you are willing to get dirty and/or possibly break.  (Fear not!  We probably can fix it right then and there.) All makes and models are welcome and accepted.  Laura and I are Jeep nuts, but we understand that Jeeps aren't the only things that can get lifted and have 35" mudders stuffed underneath.

                                 2.  We ask that you be laid back, over the age of 21 and considered by those that know you to be a mature responsible adult.  We will not be held accountable as a group for what individuals do to others or themselves.  We wish to avoid incidences of immature childish behavior that can effect the group's ability to have a good time.

                                 3.  A caveat to the above:  IF for some reason you do have a disagreement with another member, we ask that you handle it outside of club gatherings.  If it occurs at a club  gathering/event take care of the problem quickly and quietly like adults...for obvious reasons.

                                4.  Feel free to bring your children.  We are a family friendly organization and as such provide an environment that is great fun for the whole family!
